I'm a big fan of matte nails, but I am also wildly impatient. This is not a good combination. But sometimes, I actually have the patience to let my nails dry without the help of my trusty Seche Vite, and that's when I break out the matte topcoat.

I started with a base of China Glaze Liquid Leather. I used Essie's Matte About You topcoat to mattify the black. Then I used a striping brush and Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in Golden-I to add some not-matte golden stripes. And that's it!
Do you like using matte topcoat, or do you think it takes too long to dry?
